Director and Founder
Raj
is a freelance TV producer and media professional with
over 16 years experience. He has worked for all major
TV networks and with some of the biggest names in the
business, including: Bob Monkhouse, Jeremy Paxman, Noel
Edmonds and Keith Floyd.
Raj’s
love for Indian cookery has influenced his media work;
recent projects have comprised a number of food programmes,
both in the UK and abroad, including a major TV series
on Indian cuisine, “Floyd’s India”,
featuring gastronaut Keith Floyd - Shot entirely in
India, this 8 part series, celebrated the nation’s
favourite food from Kerala to Punjab.
Through
his high profile profession, Raj has built up a contacts
portfolio consisting of well-known chefs, from the renowned
Taj Group of Hotels in India, and food celebrities from
around the world.
Raj’s
personal interest in gourmet cooking has led him to
successfully complete an ethnic cuisine NVQ course,
tutored by none other than Veena Varma, crowned ‘International
Chef of the Year’.
Inspired
by his passion for food, Raj has always dreamed of establishing
an Indian restaurant… Mango Tree was successfully
launched in November 2003!

Director
and Founder
Sangeeta has experience
in Business Management Consultancy and graduated with
a Masters in Business Administration from Aston University
in the year 2000.
She has recently worked
as a Project Manager, on a £2.5M European funded,
educational project, aimed at assisting businesses in
the West Midlands region.
Sangeeta's previous
role, as a teacher and lecturer, provides her with a
further 10 years experience, in the education and training
industry.
