It was champagne all around once again at one of Sutton Coldfields most distinguished restaurants as they were crowned, once again, Restaurant of the Year in the Taste of Staffordshire Good Food Awards.

Winning awards for hospitality, great food and great service is nothing new to owners Raj and Sangeeta Ram of Mango Tree or head chef Murray. Since opening its doors to discerning diners five years ago it is extremely rare to find a year in which this beautiful restaurant is not competing at the very top award ceremonies held throughout the country – regularly picking up an award or two themselves in the process and have been Restaurant of the Year 3 times.

Judges commented:
"The service we received throughout the evening
was excellent - it was faultlessly professional.
Dishes were all cleared promptly and staff were
friendly and chatty, with plenty of smiles.
They built an excellent rapport with diners.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to
others. The meals were perfectly cooked
and the service was first class. "
